ActForEaling wants to hear from anyone planning an event or activity that could be part of Circular Economy Week coming up on 20-26 October
What is the circular economy
#CEweek2025 is all about celebrating and inspiring a new “stuff” revolution. A revolution that is challenging how we buy, use and then throw away. The circular economy is the alternative to this linear and wasteful approach.
Why can’t products be designed to be used again? Why are we digging new materials out of the ground when we have so much in circulation already? Why isn’t repairing something easier and cheaper than buying a new replacement?
These are all incredibly important questions Londoners should be asking of the brands and organisations they are buying “stuff” from.
What is Circular Economy Week
ReLondon is leading the local circular economy revolution by hosting #CEweek2025 during 20-26 October. ReLondon is looking to raise Londoners’ awareness of how the circular economy can improve every day life. To do this it’s will be promoting events and activities that demonstrate how the circular economy can deliver:
- economic growth
- green jobs
- better connected communities
- everyday cost savings
- efficient and productive use of resources
- environmental solutions
- progress towards a more sustainable future
