5 July 2021 – Ealing Transition Event : Reconnecting With And Restoring Nature

Ealing Transition Initiative invite you to their next event, a ‘4 x 15 event’ looking at how can we act to reconnect with and restore nature in our community on Monday 5th July at 7-9 pm on Zoom.

We will hear 4 short 15 minute presentations from local community organisations which are contributing to addressing nature restoration locally. Vanessa Hampton, Head Parks Ranger for LB Ealing will look at why nature is in trouble and how Ealing Council plans to restore nature in our parks and gardens. Natasha Gavin is a food and wildlife educator who runs I Know Why Its Yum Mum and will share her ideas on engaging children in creating wildlife habitats. Emily Milhouse is from Froglife the national wildlife charity committed to the conservation of amphibians and reptiles – frogs, toads, newts, snakes and lizards – and saving their habitats. She will share what you can do to create space for these creatures. Sean McCormack from Ealing Wildlife Group will discuss how we can come together to support Ealing’s wildlife.

There will be space for group discussion and sharing of ideas and opportunity to make connections.

Please e-mail Ealing Transition Initiative if you wish to attend : steering@ealingtransition.org.uk

You will be sent joining instructions just before the event which is free.
