Ealing Animal Fair, Saturday 2 March

The Ealing Animal Fair is returning on Saturday 2 March to Hanwell Methodist Church from 10.30 to 4 pm with over 30 animal welfare organisations and a great programme of speakers including actor Peter Egan (as long as work commitments allow). The fair is free to attend.

With over 30 animal charity stalls with ActforEaling partners that include Ealing Friends of the Earth and Lagercan. The groups represent a variety of local, national and international animal welfare causes.  The stalls raise funds for their work by offering a variety of goods, gifts and bargains for sale. The organisations will also have leaflets and information on their work at the Ealing Animal Fair. Refreshments are available throughout the day.

As well as lots of animal charity stalls, it also includes a full programme of live music, poetry and presentations by eminent speakers.

The event is popular and has been running for 45 years. Ealing Animals Fair was started on Saturday 20th May 1978 and since then has been an annual event, usually held on the first Saturday in March. Originally it was called the Ecology and Animal Welfare Bazaar and was held at Ealing Town Hall. In 2010 it changed its name to the Ealing Animal Welfare Bazaar and moved its venue to Hanwell Methodist Church. For its 40th anniversary year (2018), the name changed to Ealing Animal Charities Fair and for its 43rd year in 2022 to Ealing Animals Fair.
