🧵 London Repair Week 2024 is taking place 11th-17th March! With over 70 partners running workshops and events around London including events in Ealing and online events to learn skills to fix your stuff. 🔧 Replacing stuff is expensive. Join us this Repair Week to learn free fixing skills! You get the chance to breathe new life into cherished items, save money and be kind to the environment.
The events include sewing ‘survival skill’ crash courses, furniture upcycling sessions; computer maintenance and troubleshooting tutorials; and bike repair workshops. These events take place in various libraries, community centres, churches and other venues. There is also events taking place online.
Whether it’s a pair of children’s jeans that need mending or a bike puncture, Repair Week has got your repair needs covered. With over 100 events listed, visit London Repair Week and get sign up for a workshop near you or online.
Ealing Repair Week Events
Ealing Repair cafe run events around Acton and Ealing. Plus there are daily online events from Repair what you wear online tutorials that you can register for.
- Tuesday 12 March: Mend and Natter at West Ealing Library, Community Library, Melbourne Avenue, Ealing, W13 9BT. From 1 pm-3pm.
- Thursday 14 March: Mend and Natter at Acton W3 Gallery, 6 pm- 7.30 pm, W3 Gallery at 185, High Street, Acton, London, W3 6DJ. Sewing machine available for fixing seams and suitable mends.
They ask for a small donation of £3 to cover costs.
