Do you want to make a difference in your local area? if so, you might be interested in a range of community funding opportunities for a selected portfolio of local projects via ChangeX’s website. You can select or start a new a project, but must apply by 15 March 2024 to be eligible.
ChangeX is offering individual grants typically of between around £500 and £5000 to individuals and groups interested in taking on community projects focused on environmental sustainability, digital skills, or community prosperity. You can select from an existing portfolio of ideas, or submit details of your own project for consideration.
Existing ideas include Tiny Forest Tree Keepers, FreshWater Watch, Mini Growing or Wild Spaces, Earth Cub Plogging Clubs, Open Orchards, and Repair Cafes. Details of the process, including dates and next steps are available on ChangeX’s website here.
How to Apply for funding:
- Visit ChangeX’s website to learn more about the application process and eligibility criteria.
- Prepare your project proposal outlining your vision, objectives, and expected impact.
- Apply before the deadline 15 March 2024, to be considered.
What ChangeX are looking for:
Projects that:
- Promote sustainable living, biodiversity conservation, waste reduction, and community greening initiatives; or
- Improve digital literacy, and bridge the digital divide within local communities.
