Nourishing Your Mind: MindFood well being courses from Home

MindFood are now offering free online well being courses as part of their new MindFood at Home Programme. This programme help you stay connected with nature, and nurture your well being.

This Mindfood at Home programme is good for those of you who might be:

  • Shielding or self-isolating?
  • Have mobility difficulties?
  • Social anxiety?
  • Full-time caring commitments?
  • Want to visit us in person but aren’t quite ready?
  • Joined us in the past and fancy a refresher
Mindfood courses

For 6 weeks, MindFood are emailing a weekly easy-to-follow nature-themed pep talk. They cover all of the Growing Wellbeing courses topics with on-site videos, mindfulness prompts, and ideas to get you growing at home. They can provide you with seedlings to get you started.

Sessions take place on various days of the week between 2.00-3.00 pm.

Once you’ve completed the well being course, you are welcome to visit us in person if/when you are ready to, and join any of our other in person sessions, or our regular trips to Kew Gardens.

About Mindfood

Mindfood is a charity helping people who are struggling with stress, depression or anxiety by offering food-growing and creative well being sessions in natural green settings. We believe better mental health should be accessible for all.

The courses are a fun balance of learning how to grow a wide range of fruit, veg, herbs and flowers whilst becoming more mindful of ways to improve wellbeing. Offering a variety of courses such as:

Mindfood offer a non-judgemental space, that is described by many as a haven – a welcoming, calming space to learn and grow! Courses are based at beautiful green spaces in Ealing: an allotment plot near Hanger Lane tube station, and in the gardens at Horsenden Farm near Perivale tube station.
