The Rivers Trust have organised a national Big Rivers Watch. Are passionate about your local river? Want to know about biodiversity in your area? This is your opportunity to find out more. Vanessa from Boston Manor Park will guide you along the river to survey river health and species. This survey is part of the Big River Watch. The event takes place on Thursday 12th September 2024 between 12.00-12.30 pm.
Meet outside by the picnic tables by the Hub in Boston Manor Road, Brentford TW8 9JX. This will be followed by a short work down to the river for a 15 minute survey.

Imogen is an Olympian and Rower from Team GB and also an Ambassador for the Rivers Trust and who is passionate about improving river health. To join in download the app, enter what you see, and become a citizen scientist.
As well as the 12.00-12.30pm slot, there is another opportunity in the evening of 12th September 2024. This is between 19.00pm to 19.30pm and followed by a bat walk.
