Learn to Upcycle clothes at Ealing Repair Cafe Events

Pop along to one of Ealing Repair Cafe for meetups for clothes mending. Not only do they teach you how to mend your clothes, but bring projects to inspire you to upcycle clothes so you get to use your clothes for longer.

Upcycle clothes projects

Ealing Repair cafe have brilliant projects to inspire you like:

Last month Ealing Repair cafe attended family fun days at Perivale with Parents of the Future and Bond street Family Fun day and showed lots of children how to make bracelets and key chains from t-shirt yarn. They loved learning about how we recycling and upcycling can be fun and how to upcycle clothes that they love. For more projects and guides, go to Ealing Repair cafe Guide and Tips.

Ealing Repair Cafe have set their October dates for when you can mend and learn together. All levels of sewing welcome, from beginners to advance, there’s always something new to share or learn. Our volunteers will be on hand to teach you how to repair your clothes. They have samples and equipment to get you started and pick up one of their darning and patching guides. Going forward they have set monthly regular meetups so should be easier to know where they are in the month.

We have set our regular monthly dates at our venues, so they should be on the same day and same week each month, dependant on venue availability. (Except December and August where we take a break). Come along to mend your clothes, get advice and be inspired.
