Ealing Bond Street Party: Family Fun on Car Free Sunday

Bond Street in Ealing Broadway is having a free Community party on Sunday 22 September from 12.00 noon to 5.00 pm. Join community groups, social enterprises and businesses in Ealing Bond Street for a lively and fun-filled event celebrating our community.

This vibrant street fair is for families and individuals of all ages. The party offers a delightful day of entertainment, activities, and community bonding. To mark World Car Free Day, let’s celebrate Ealing Broadway neighbourhood and the power of getting together to make our community a better, greener place.  

From midday to 5 pm come along and explore stalls from local businesses and enjoy a range of free activities including yoga, games on the green, Ealing clothes repair cafe and a Bhangra workshop.

From Cities for Play: Designing streets that prioritise children over cars

To mark World Car Free Day and to enjoy a day of free family and community fun, Bond Street in Ealing Broadway is closing to traffic on Sunday 22 September.

Ealing Council is hosting an event from midday to 5pm on Bond Street. You will be able to explore stalls from local businesses, family activities, a Bhangra performance and workshop, plus play games on the green.

High street event funding

Funding is available for high street events from Mayor of London’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund. If you have an event you would like funding for, look at the Ealing Council UKSPF open call for high street events. Applications for high street event funding is open until March 2025.

Closures and diversions on Sunday 22 September

The road closes to through traffic from 11am to 6pm, with parking suspensions from 1am on Sunday 22 September. Cars will divert to Mattock Lane and Grange Road, with access to Uxbridge Road and the Broadway. The 65 bus stop on Bond Street will be closed and the number 65 bus towards Ealing Broadway will be diverted.
