As fuel prices go up and winter temperatures go down, many have to spend more money to heat our homes. Get help from Healthy Homes at Ealing Council, Green Doctors and Ealing Friends of the Earth Warm Homes campaign pushing for change and offering advice.
We can save money and make homes more comfortable if you make it more energy efficient. There are many measures we can take that will cost you very little or nothing. Take a look at the Warm homes map to show how many homes can be improved in your postcode.
Warm homes in Winter and Cool homes in Summer
As well as warm homes in winter, it is just as important to keep your home cool during very hot weather. If your house is better insulated it will help with both keeping your home warm in winter and cool in the summer. If you insulate it will also help you to ensure a healthy home and keep down energy costs as you will reduce the need to use cooling equipment.
