Plant Bulbs and Grow Community at Open Havelock

Come and help with planting  Winter and Spring of Bulbs family event on Saturday 26 October from 12-3 pm. Plus Free Seeds will be available to take away. This is a fun and simple activity for all the children to enjoy. Meet the community at Open Havelock Community Centre, where Urban Trailblazer will be running this activity.

Bulbs are one of the easiest and most rewarding garden plants to grow. The RHS think bulbs make a beautiful display planted in containers or borders, especially daffodils, snowdrops and tulips in spring. For more information from the RHS on planting bulbs.

Urban Trailblazer

Urban Trailblazer CIC is creating beautiful herbal community gardens and fostering educational growth. Their journey is rooted in nurturing in how to benefit from nutritional, aromatherapy & medicinal green spaces. All this will benefit people’s lives.

Established in 2021, Urban  Trailblazer CIC has grown from one container on a London Underground station to five locations . This includes workshops and community gardens. With their focus  on medicinal, nutritional & aromatherapy  herbs we aim to educate and bring benefits to  the community

Join us in making a positive impact on the community! At Urban Trailblazer CIC, they are always on the lookout for dedicated volunteers. They need volunteers to help throughout the seasons at their allotment located in Manor Way, Southall UB2 4JJ.

They need your support with various tasks, including weeding, composting, seeding, watering, and mulching. Additionally, if you have any spare seeds, tools, a fence, a greenhouse, or a water butt that you can contribute to Urban Trailblazer, please get in touch.

Open Havelock community centre

Open Havelock Community hub in Southall offers outstanding facilities for people to exercise and socialise in.
