Join Ealing Freecycle to list things you want to give away or hope to receive for free. People will then post responses to take the item or offer the item.
The Freecycle Network consists of over 5,000 local Town groups and includes more than 11 million members worldwide. Freecycle is a grassroots, entirely non-profit initiative exchanging items freely within communities, helping to keep usable goods out of landfills. Membership is provided at no cost and all items are required to be free, legal and suitable for all ages.
How Freecycle works
When you sign up with Freecycle.org, you can join one or more local Town groups such as Freecycle Ealing and/or invite some local friends to form a Friends Circle. You make posts about things you want to gift or receive. Other members reply and then you arrange a pickup time and location. Just like that, you’ve saved something from going to a landfill and given it a new life.
Learn here how to post your items.
Volunteer moderators run town groups and members take part in this worldwide gifting movement that reduces waste, saves precious resources and eases the burden on our landfills.

Freecycle Fundraising Appeal
Keep the magic alive by supporting The Freecycle Network™ with your donation. Freecycle’s workshop has about 90 servers and a full-stack engineer-elf who could use your help.
As a non-profit, The Freecycle Network’s server and operating expenses get funds by grants, underwriting, sponsorship, royalties and individual donations.
This year Freecycle has:
- Celebrated 500,000 more sprites joining our ranks
- Gifted nearly 2 million items on Freecycle.org
- Made Freecycle.org the top-ranked environmental and elfish-green group website on the planet
- Kept thousands of tons of still-good holiday cheer out of landfills.
Freecycle needs your help now. Each local gift is the pixie dust that Freecycle thrives on to power that daily good cheer.
Just £20 would keep this Freecycle wizardry happening. So find out more and please donate here
