Drop-in for the volunteering sessions at the Berrymede Community Garden. Located in the playgrounds of Acton Gardens Primary School, these sessions offer a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the lovely community space. The garden is between the 3 buildings of the school, formerly known as Berrymede Infant and Junior School.
Sessions are outside of school lesson times and open to volunteers:
- Saturdays from 11.30am–2.30pm
- Tuesdays from 3-5pm
- Thursdays during the summer 4-6pm
Working to improve health and wellbeing across London by encouraging and supporting local communities to engage with their green spaces. Sharing horticulture and environmental knowledge, they enable people of all ages to better connect with their community. Cultivate London is an independent social enterprise and charity, working to improve employment, education, health and wellbeing outcomes of communities in London by improving the natural environment, setting a standard for engaging communities in their green spaces and providing greater access and understanding of community and environmental needs.
Training provides job ready skills which improve employment opportunities. Charitable work in the community is supported by grants and importantly through commercial horticultural contracts for a range of businesses and public organisations.

- Seed sowing
- Garden and raised bed maintenance
- Food experimentation
