Come along for a bat walk adventure on Saturday 10 May at 7.30 pm. You will embark on a twilight stroll through the beautiful surroundings of Grove Farm, Ealing, exploring the fascinating world of bats.
Discover the bats that call this area home and learn about their habits and habitats. Come along for this brilliant bat walk for the opportunity to witness these amazing creatures up close in their natural environment.
Book on the Grove Farm Bar Walk and meet on Saturday 10 May outside Sudbury Hill Tube Station at 7:30pm.
Under 18s are welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please take care as you are walking through Grove Farm. There aren’t any lights in the park and the paths are uneven. Also they suggest covering your legs and wearing enclosed shoes as there may be nettles and brambles near the paths.
If it is raining the event will be cancelled as you are unlikely to spot any bats.
About Grove Farm
Grove Farm is an 8-hectare Local Nature Reserve in Greenford in the London Borough of Ealing. It was declared as a nature reserve in 2002 by Ealing Council, which owns and manages the site.
The site has ancient woodland, and woodland flower species, while trees include the wild service tree. Plant species include welted thistle, hairy violet, pepper saxifrage and adders tongue fern.
There is a circular path, and there is access from Whitton Avenue West, Dimmock Drive and Lilian Board Way.
