Ealing Wildlife Group 2022 Photograph Competition

The Ealing Wildlife Group (EWG) 2022 Photography Competition is open to entries here.

This is the sixth annual competition and exhibition featuring the beautiful nature and wildlife of the Ealing borough. All the winning entries will be displayed in an exhibition in Walpole Park.

The competition is open to all ages and abilities and is not purely for professionals with fancy cameras with whopping lenses. Phone pictures often get shortlisted, and it’s judged on your story of the photo as much as the technical aspects, subject and composition. It’s for everyone and all ages, please encourage your under 16s to enter.

Dates for diary

1 September: Opening date for submissions
22 September: Closing date for submissions
15 October: Opening day of the exhibition in Walpole Park

Ealing Wildlife Group is a local wildlife conservation organisation aiming to protect and educate about local wildlife and space for nature.

The group shares knowledge, sightings, and photos, seek advice, lobby local authorities and developers, organise educational events, arrange outings and celebrate the wonderful wildlife we share our surroundings with.

EWG is a dedicated group of volunteers, local experts and amateur naturalists. Projects include collecting and submitting data on biodiversity in Ealing.

The overall aim is to build a community of like-minded individuals. These individuals are all passionate about nature, keen to learn more and all see the value in actively conserving it.
