Greener Together: Get involved to improve green, grey and open spaces

Do you know a space in Park Royal that is in need of improvement and revitalisation? Is there a space next to your workplace that could be a perfect spot for your lunch break?

Let them know your ideas! The spaces could include a neglected planting bed, an unused or unkempt space that would benefit from more colour and greening, a boring grass verge in need of some seating, or maybe you’d like to see more wildflowers and opportunities for bulb planting – all ideas are welcome.

OPDC are looking to revitalise Wesley Playing Fields and Cerebos Gardens over the coming months. Based on the communities ideas, OPDC’s Community Gardener will run regular hands-on volunteering sessions, including bulb planting, clearance, bird box making, to help enhance the quality and biodiversity of our green spaces.
